Dr. Lalit Bhasin

Presdident - SILF (Society of Indian Law Firms)

A distinguished legal professional and arbitration expert, Dr. Lalit Bhasin has held several prominent leadership roles, including President of the Society of Indian Law Firms, Past President of the Bar Association of India, and Chairman Emeritus of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (India).

He has also served as Chairman of the CII National Committee on Legal Services and held key positions with international bodies such as the American Bar Association and International Bar Association.

Dr. Bhasin has been widely recognized for his contributions to the legal field, receiving honors including the National Law Day Award, Lifetime Achievement Award (House of Lords, UK), and multiple honorary doctorates.

Justice S. L. Bhayana

Additional Judge, Delhi High Court

Justice S.L. Bhayana, B.A. LL.B – Born on 15th April, 1949. Enrolled as an Advocate with Bar Council of India in the year 1973. Practiced as an Advocate in the District Courts and High Court of Delhi and dealt with Civil, Criminal, Arbitration, Matrimonial and Accident Claim matters till August, 1989 when he joined Delhi Higher Judicial Service.

After joining, the Delhi Higher Judicial Service held various responsible positions such as Judge-Incharge, Patialia House Courts, Presiding Officer, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal. He was appointed as Special Judge (Murder Court) on the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the year 1994, where he successfully decided about 120 murder cases in one year.

Appointed as Additional Judge, Delhi High Court on 28th February, 2006.

Justice Rajesh Tandon

Former Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court

Justice Rajesh Tandon is a Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India and a former Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court (2003–2008).

He has held several key positions, including Chairperson of the Cyber Appellate Tribunal, Chairman of the State Law Commission, Uttarakhand, and Member of the Human Rights Commission, Uttarakhand.

Currently, he serves as Vice President of the Association of Retired Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts of India and Chairperson of the Appeal Committee of the All India Football Federation.

An experienced arbitrator, he is empaneled with multiple national and international arbitration institutions and continues to contribute to legal education and policy through various academic and advisory roles.

Praveen Shetty

Deputy General Counsel - Tata Consultancy Services

With over three decades of legal experience, including 14 years in the technology sector, they currently serve as Deputy General Counsel at Tata Consultancy Services. Their core areas of expertise include leadership, intellectual property, litigation, and corporate law.

In this role, they focus on strengthening legal frameworks to safeguard organizational interests while fostering a culture of innovation, with a strong emphasis on integrating diverse perspectives across global operations.

They oversee a large team, negotiate complex transactions, provide strategic legal guidance, and manage customer and vendor contracts. Additionally, they play a key role in RFP and RFI processes, as well as in mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Their expertise in intellectual property has been instrumental in developing and protecting the company’s portfolio, reinforcing its legal and business success.
